Tiffany ties the knot (Again)

My little sister Tiffany got married on Thursday June 19th. (also my dads B-day). She married a really great guy, his name is Joe Klinke. They met at Alpine where they both work. Joe is really great to Tiffanys kids and really loves them. I think he will make a great stepdad.
This day was really beautiful, my Aunt Nicole (my moms little sister) was the wedding planner. She was so GREAT! The wedding and the reception was at Birch Creek Golf Club in Smithfield.
She looked BEAUTIFUL.

Playing in the Sand

I put Easten in the sand and he would grab handfuls of sand and throw it. There was a slight breeze so sometime the sand would come right back to him. He didn't care he was so glad to be outside and out of that hospital.

AGAIN , AGAIN UNCLE BEN

Easten is home! We are so greatful that he is home with family. We met at the park in Smithfield on Sunday. Easten & Holly got home earlier that day. Uncle Ben wanted a turn to take little "E" down the slide. Easten wasen't to sure of it, we couldn't decide if he didn't like the slide or the person holding him. This is the first time in a long time since Eastens very first surgery that Uncle Ben has dared to hold him. He did a great job.

Happy Fathers Day to the Best DAD!

Happy Fathers day Ben. I have to say that Ben is not only the Greatest Dad but a really Great person. I hope his day was special. I love when he gets to spend time with the kids, he always makes every minute special.

My DAD. Fathers Day

Here is my cute dad, Bland. I love him so much, he is so funny and is always doing something to make people smile. He made it through 4 daughters so I think this day is extra special for him. He is now getting pay back for having no sons. My Dad has 7 Grandsons (Hayden, Colton, Kason, Dylan, Stetsen, Hunter & Little Easten) and only 1 Granddaughter (Kenzie). Not to mention 2 Son-in-laws (Ben & Rusty) and then a new son-in-law as of June 19th (Joe). I think my Dad would say that the tables have turned! Happy Fathers Day DAD!!

4 Generations

I love this picture! This is my Grandma Jean (my mothers mom) my mom, Debbie and of course me and then Kenzie. Four generations! I know that it's not five generations but, I think this is just as neat.

My Chairs, My Chairs

Kenzie loves to pose for pictures. She gathered these chairs at my Grandmas house and would not let the boys touch her chairs. She made sure everyone knew they were hers by putting her legs up on the chair she was not sitting on.

KENZIE, KASON & STETSEN

A Day that felt Like Summer

On Friday we got to have Stetsen come play at our house. The weather was somewhat warm so we decided to put the sprinkler under the tramp. The kids had a blast. They were so excited to be able to play in the water.

Drying Out

After a playing in the water, they like to lay there towels out on the cement and get warm. Stetsen & Kason just throw there towels on the ground, but little Kenzie had to make sure all corners were laid flat and there was no wrinkles in the towel.

Update on Easten.

Alot has happened with Easten in just a couple of days. You all know that he was in the hospital over the weekend. Holly & Rusty brought him home on Sunday and thought everything would get better.
I got a call from Holly on Tuesday afternoon, she was concerned because Eastens stool was BLACK! When we were down at Primarys over the weekend the doctors told Holly that if Eastens stool turned White or Black that it was bad.
Holly took Easten into his primary care doctor, Dr Armstrong and his stool did test postive for blood. This meant that little Easten was bleeding internaly. Dr. Armstrong wanted to take Easten by amublunce to Primary but, Holly said she could get him there quicker.
I met Holly at her house and she was in total panick mode. I took Stetsen to my house and my parents were going to go with Holly to Primarys. They were going to meet Rusty in Brigham.
Just as they were leaving town Holly received a call from the doctor on call @ primarys. They wanted her to turn around and go back to hospital and get all the blood work done here so they had it all ready when they got Easten down there.
The blood work showed that Easten was loosing blood somewhere. His numbers weren't terrible but, not good.
Holly and my mom took Easten down to Primarys and they admitted him. They drained his belly again and this time they couldn't put him out so he had to have a local. They pulled 350cc this time, more than what they got on Saturday. Today His labs look good and they might do a scope down his throat to see if they can find the source of the bleeding. The bad thing is that his liver panel was really low, which means something is going wrong with his liver. This is all I know right now but, I will keep everyone updated.

Kason starts Baseball

Kason has now started Baseball. I am so excited! I love Baseball and I really want Kason to love it too.
I was really nervous for Kasons first game. They really don't have practices they just show up 15 mins before their game and toss the ball around. When Kason asked me, "Mom which way do I ran?" I knew we were in a bit of trouble.
Kason did a GREAT job! He hit the ball everytime he was up to bat and was an excellent outfielder. I was so proud of him. At this age I guess they really don't keep score.. I DO and our team won!! GREAT JOB MARLINS!!

Kason up to Bat

He makes it to First Base

Easten on his Birthday

Easten turns "1"

On Friday June 6th our little Easten man turned "1". This was a huge milestone for our family. We were told that Holly & Rusty would probably never see this day. The Wednesday before Eastens birthday his belly started to grow. He went from 49 1/2cm to 54 1/2 cm. The day of his Birthday little Easten was so miserable. He could hardly move and as the night went on started to have problems breathing. After the birthday party Holly & Rusty made the choice to take Easten to Primarys. At 9:00 pm they headed for the ER at Primary Childrens. When they reached SLC Holly started to worry she felt his breathing was getting worse. Rusty knew that he needed to get to the hospital as fast as he could. He later told me that he prayed he would make it there in time. He said that every light along the way was green or just turning green as the approched it. I know Heavenly Father had a hand in getting Easten to Primarys fast enough. They admitted Easten at 4:00 am on June 7th. later that morning they did an ultrasound and found fluid in his stomach. They ended up tapping Easten to remove the fluid.
I arrived just minutes after they had taked Easten to the treatment room. Holly & Rusty were sitting in Eastens room with worry on there faces. I knew there was not much I could do for Easten but, I wanted my sister to know I was there for her.
When they brought Easten back to the room he looked so much better and you could tell he felt better. He even smiled at me. They removed 320cc of fluid from his belly. That is almost 11oz. He drank a bottle and slept for 5 hours. They drew his blood several times while I was there and today (June 8th) the labs looked good and he is on his way home.

Alcatraz

This was my favorite part of our vacation. It was was neat to be right there where a part of history happened. Kason and Kenzie loved the tour as well. Kason put on the ear phones and walked though the entire tour. Kenzie put her ear phones on and fell asleep.

San Fransico

This is Ben and my kids playing in the ocean. We went on a family trip to San Fransico in the middle of March. It was fun to get away with just the four of us. It was one of my favorite trips. The kids were great and the weather was wonderful. The ocean was a little scary for Kenzie she just dipped her toes in and that was enough for her. Kason on the other hand would have went swimming if I would have let him.

My Husband

This is my husband, Ben. He is like a kid himself if you can't tell. Ben is a Great Dad and loves to be with kids. This picture was taken at Health Days here in Smithfield durning the Mutten Bustin' ( I may have spelled that wrong) We waited all day to watch Kason ride a sheep. It took alot for Ben to keep Kenzie entertained.

Kenzie

This is my little girl Kenzie Grace. She turned two on January 19th. She is trouble. She is a girl through and through, her emotions ran rampid at all times. She is a mamas girl and has been from birth. Kason sometimes referrs to her as satan. We love her though and she brings alot of laughter to our family.

Kason

This is my son Kason (the handsome boy in the middle) he just turned six years old on April 3rd. He loves to play Soccor and this year he played on a team in Smithfield with his two cousins Hayden and Colton. They were awesome. Kason scored a goal at every game and loved to be the goalie. I hated it when he played goalie, to much pressure for Mom.
